:: Living simply ::

"Whether we are poets or parents or teachers or artists or gardeners, we must start where we are and use what we have. In the process of creation and relationship, what seems mundane and trivial may show itself to be a holy, precious, part of a pattern."

Where does it hurt...?

As long as Man continues to be the ruthless destroyer of lower living beings, he will never know health or peace. For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seed of murder and pain cannot reap joy and love.

  1. Maree,

    this is such a beautiful web site I can hardly tear myself away to eat and drink. The paintings are gorgeous, the words are inspiring and I will be forever grateful that I stumbled across it this morning, Your wrings of joy and sorrow, dreams and lines in the sand inspires me me to continue my search for a relative in South Africa, even though I am running out of time at 93 years old.
    Please carry on the wonderful work your talent permits and bring joy to so many living in a less wonderful world.

    your new doting fan. Richard

    1. Wow Richard, thanks ever so much for your inspiring words, means a lot to me that you have enjoyed some of my paintings and writings! Have a great day!
